TelecityGroup was a Data Centre provider with presence in 11 countries across Europe. It was acquired by Equinix in 2015, which led ultimately to my leaving when the teams were aligned.
When I joined, there was no real management in place for applications. There was a small group of application technicians reporting to the infrastructure manager. The team had technical projects but no sense of service improvement.
I brought the team together, created and implemented a service strategy covering Change Management, Business Relationships and formal Release Management. I helped individuals within the team identify career paths and unlock potential.
While in post I created the vision and strategy for a new customer experience based in bringing together the sales, delivery and finance applications presented through a single portal.
